County maintains a marriage record database that serves as an index to the
books where marriage records are filed.
This web site now has that index available for download and
searching. The marriage record
index can be downloaded in a MS Excel or MS Access format by time frames
that are sorted alphabetically by groom or bride. The index data includes groom, bride,
date of marriage, dates of birth, ages, addresses and the book and page
where record is stored. You can
contact our office to obtain paper copies of the marriage records. Charge per certified record copy is
$5.00. For uncertified copies, the
charge is 50 cents per page. You
can forward requests by email or mail.
We will forward copies upon receipt of payment by money order or
cash payments. A stamped addressed
envelope is required.

provides the complete Jackson County Marriage Data base for download. All indexed data is in the database. The program is compressed and ready for
download. To run the access program
on your computer, you must have installed MS Access 2003 or a later version. You can also export the database into
other programs such as MS excel or other SQL compatible data bases. Contact our webmaster for technical support.
To view and search database without MS Access
you can use the following freeware program.
It is zipped and upon download you must expand the program. It is a freeware program and no
installation is required. The
program is easy to use and permits access to the index along with search
Another option is to download the entire index
in sorted excel format (version 2003 or later). All index data is present and sorted by
groom or bride names. Once
downloaded you can also search by dates, locations etc. using the search
capabilities in excel. Both files
are compressed (download size is approximately 10MB) and can be expanded
